Is Campfyr free?
Yes. Your first trip of your own is free, and joining friends’ trips is always free. Each extra trip you want to run at the same time is a one-time ₹200 (about $3) purchase that you keep for good.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Everything lives on your phone, so you can plan, add expenses and look up bookings with no signal. Changes sync when you’re back online, or directly between phones nearby over Wi-Fi.
Can friends in other cities plan with me?
Yes. Everyone signs in with Google and the trip syncs through the cloud, so people travelling from different places see the same plan, bookings and balances.
Who can see my trip?
Only the people in it. Each trip has its own key, carried in the invite. Trip data is encrypted on your phone before it syncs, so the server stores data it cannot read. See our privacy policy.
How do we settle up?
Campfyr works out the fewest payments needed. Tap Pay to open your UPI app with the amount filled in, or mark a payment as done if you paid in cash. Campfyr never handles your money.
Where are my photos stored?
On the phones of the people who took them. Others see small previews and pull the full photo straight from the owner’s phone when you’re together. Full-size photos are not uploaded to our servers.
