How to remove your account and the data linked to it

Delete a trip

In the app, open the trip, tap the settings button at the top right, then Delete trip(for trips you created) or Leave trip (for trips you joined). Deleting removes the trip from your phone and its encrypted copy from our servers. People you invited keep what’s already on their phones.

Delete your whole account

1. Delete or leave each of your trips in the app, as above.
2. Email support@devianlabs.comfrom the Google account you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my Campfyr account”.
3. We’ll confirm, and delete your account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your Campfyr sign-in record (name, email address and account ID).
• Your memberships in trips, and the encrypted data of any trips you created that are still in the cloud.
• Your record of purchased extra trips. Purchases can’t be restored after deletion.

What may remain

• Copies of trips on other members’ phones. They’re theirs, and we can’t reach them.
• Order records kept by Google Play or the App Store, under their own policies, and any records we must keep by law (for example, tax records of purchases), for as long as the law requires.

Uninstalling Campfyr removes everything stored on your phone, but doesn’t delete your account. Use the steps above for that.
