Terms of use

Effective 1 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Devian Labs (“we”, “us”) for the Campfyr app and this website. By using Campfyr you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Campfyr.

1. Using Campfyr

  • You need a Google account to sign in. Keep your account secure; you are responsible for what happens under it.
  • If you are under 18, use Campfyr only with a parent or guardian’s involvement.
  • Use Campfyr lawfully. Don’t use it to harass people, share content you have no right to share, or interfere with the service or other people’s use of it.

2. Your content

Plans, bookings, expenses, photos and anything else you add remain yours. You let us store and transmit them only as needed to run Campfyr, for example syncing encrypted trip data to the other people in a trip. Anyone you invite to a trip can see and change what’s in it, and keeps a copy on their phone; only invite people you trust.

3. Trips and purchases

  • You can have one trip of your own at a time for free. Joining trips other people create is always free.
  • Each purchase of an extra trip (₹200 in India, or the local price shown in your store) lets you have one more trip of your own at the same time, for as long as Campfyr is offered. If you delete a trip, you can start another in its place.
  • Purchases are made through Google Play or the Apple App Store and are subject to their terms. Prices include applicable taxes as shown by the store.
  • Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its refund policy (Google Play,App Store). If something went wrong with a purchase, write to us and we’ll help.

4. Money features

Campfyr helps you track shared expenses and work out who owes whom. It is a record-keeping tool, not a payment service: payments made from Pay links happen in your UPI app between you and the other person. Check amounts before paying. We are not responsible for payments, debts or disputes between people in a trip.

5. Maps, weather and suggestions

Routes, distances, travel times, weather and place suggestions come from third-party sources and may be wrong or out of date. Use your own judgement, follow local rules, and don’t rely on Campfyr for safety decisions in the outdoors.

6. Availability

We work to keep Campfyr running, but it’s provided “as is” and “as available”. Features may change, and we may suspend accounts that break these terms. Your trips are kept on your phone, so keep your device backed up.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Devian Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Campfyr, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

8. Ending

You can stop using Campfyr and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as liability) survive.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We’d like to resolve any problem with you directly first. Write to support@devianlabs.com.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll change the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Campfyr after a change means you accept it.
